The portal is a centralized system established and maintained for the exclusive use of Participating Schools and those of their students who enroll in the insurance plans they offer through AJF ("Plan Members").

Any personal information stored in and accessible from the portal, including any such information meeting the definitions of Protected Health Information or electronic Protected Health Information (as each of those terms is defined under the Heath Insurance Portability and Accountability Act or "HIPAA") and/or Education Records under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act or "FERPA", is collected, used, protected and transferred solely in accordance with AJF's privacy statement, which you may read here, and the privacy statements and other policies of the Participating School through which you enrolled to become a Plan Member. As between AJF and your Participating School, your Participating School is, to the extent applicable, the party solely responsible for providing you with a Notice of Privacy Practices and such other documentation and disclosure as may be required under HIPAA or FERPA.
